Those in the Jackson Hole area should check out the Wyoming Backcountry Film Festival tonight (Tuesday January 8th) at the Pink Garter Theatre in Jackson at 7:00pm. Funds raised go towards protecting Wyoming’s wild public lands. Films showed will include Unicorn Sashimi, Freedom Chair, Denali Experiment and more. Come show your support and watch some ski/adventure porn!

Unicorn Sashimi - Highlighting the amazing winter scapes of Japan
Freedom Chair - An athlete’s journey back to the slopes and his love of winter
Denali Experiment – A look at a different type of expedition film
Alaska Wilderness Ski Classic - Winner of the Hans Sari Scholarship and this year’s “Best Grassroots Film” takes us along on an epic ski across the Alaska wilderness
Skiing the Void - This year’s “Best of the Backcountry” film reflects a two year odyssey into the Andes
Stories of Trust: Colorado - Calling for Climate recovery from a 9 year old activist and winner of the “Best Environmental Film”
Further - Jeremy Jones and friends return to push the limits of their mountain experience further.
