Dana Flahr has been taking advantage of the 11/11 snow conditions at Whistler/Blackcomb. And what are those fun looking skis, you might ask? According to Dana they’re an Atomic prototype called the AUTOMATIC that’s “basically a 186 and 192 cross somewhere between the Benchetler and the Atlas.”

With one day left until opening day at Whistler/Blackcomb, Mike Douglas helps the ski patrol get ready for the masses. High winds (142km p/h) and lots of snow make it not only difficult to have everything ready to go for opening day but also make it extremely hard to sleep in a small ski shack. Skiing doesn’t start until 3:19 however the lead up shows you just how much work goes into getting a resort ready for opening day!
