After Voleurz announced it was calling it quits after 10 years as a ski/snowboard/skate clothing/media company, it promised one more edit for the Whistler Intersection event. In true Voleurz form, entertainment and antics are blended perfectly with some great ski and snowboard action.

GoPro is really pushing the photo capabilities of it’s new Hero3 cameras and we’re starting to see why. The combination of a 12 megapixel camera with a wide field of view in an indestructible and waterproof housing is certainly nice for winter sports. The fact that you can toss one in your pocket and now remotely trigger shots via a WiFi connection also adds a lot of options for creativity. That being said, GoPro asked photographer Dano Pendygrasse to use the Hero3 for the Deep Winter Photo Challenge, and here is the result.

Honestly, calling this “POV of the Day” is selling it short. Dave Treadway skis some rowdy sled accessed lines with some nice B.C. cream cheese making the lines smooth. Anyone care to debate the fact that this is the best POV we’ve seen so far in 2013?
