Casey Cane consistently puts out some of the best Kirkwood POV footage no matter what the conditions. And with a record dry January and February in Tahoe was short of “epic” conditions. Or at least not the good kind of epic. Still, Casey Cane makes the best of things…

With a no-uphill traffic policy at neighboring Squaw Valley, it seems like Alpine Meadows is the go-to spot for early season skiing in the North Lake Tahoe area. Tune in for several videos of the action from Alpine, from Jeremy Benson and Daron Rahlves.

The 2012 Freeskiing World Tour came to a close yesterday in Kirkwood, with Crystal Wright and Josh Daiek taking home victories. Dubbed the Subaru Freeskiing World Championships, the event sealed up the overall titles for the 2012 FWT, with both Wright and Daiek earning the overall titles and the McConkey Cup. Congrats Crystal and Josh!
