First off, thank you Mr. Balken for passing this along. Enjoy as Eric crushes some snow covered mountains at/in Brighton, Alta, Revelstoke, Rogers Pass, the Tetons, The Kootenays and Mt. Baker. Can we be your travel partners next time?
Check out JP Auclair’s POV from his visit to Retallack Lodge. As you would expect, with an edit coming out of Retallack, there is an unbelievable amount of powder in this edit. Enough to make me pack my bags and head to Retallack, see you on the flip side!
If you wanted to be a world traveling ski bum, Earlyup’s recommends you get yourself on the Fischer Internaitonal Freeski Team. Edit after edit this season, the Fischer International Freeski Team has been enjoying powder all over Europe and when they got sick of that they headed to BC to go do some catskiing with the Monashee Powder Snowcats. Here is what happened on that trip…
After a few videos from this comp have been “released” and then pulled, we think this Red Bull version is actually here to stay. NBC will have more coverage on Saturday March 31st (11 AM MST) of Travis Rice’s comp (which he won of course). When can we get a skiing version of this? It’s cool to imagine what a mix of top pro skiers would do with this venue…
Deepest POV we’ve seen all year. Enough said.
TJ David has put out some banger POV edits. Although this one isn’t specifically POV (its got a great mix of non-POV and POV for every line skied), we’re still giving TJ “POV of the day” with this one which he has dubbed “Revel STOKED”. Oh, and the in bounds (really?) at Revelstoke looks amazing. And yes…they have snow.
With the Qualifying Round and Day One in the books, the FWT is hoping to run the Revelstoke finals tomorrow (Tuesday) after being postponed for two consecutive days due to heavy snowfall. Kye Peterson and Ashely Maxfield are sitting in first place after Day One. Keep checking in, as we should be adding event footage, news and photos throughout the day.
We have nothing but good things to say about this athlete remix from MSP except maybe Heim makes it all look *too* easy. Smooth, stompy and powerful are three adjectives I’d choose to use when describing James’ skiing. As always, MSP’s stuff is top shelf and 8 minute clips like this make it hard for us to go out and buy any sort of ski movie. Check it!
