Day two video from the Red Bull Cold Rush down in Silverton, CO. Possibly the most scenic slopestyle we’ve seen all year. Considering this is all the athletes first run through (we believe) this is pretty amazing stuff. Being the “Cliffs” portion of the competition has been cancelled, winners have already been crowned. Congrats to Dane Tudor and Rachel Burks for taking the top spot!

As with everything else Red Bull does, the Red Bull Cold Rush seems to be a high budget affair (at least by the standards of freeskiing anyways). The event will be going on at Silverton, CO March 14-18th with a stacked field. There are three separate venues/categories: Big Mountain, Slopestyle and Cliffs. Good editing, solid soundtrack, good mix of angles (including plenty non POV) and top notch skiing from his crew dubbed “RME” (Rocky Mountain Elite). After watching, I now understand why Oprah and Tom Cruise bought houses in that tiny little town in SW ColoRADo.
