Gear | First Look at First Ascent
Eddie Bauer launched its First Ascent Line in late 2009 geared toward mountain guides and people who spend a whole bunch of time outside pushing their gear. Back in February we got our hands on a few First Ascent layering garments with high levels of skepticism. Although a limited look at the line, this gives you some idea what to expect out of one of the newer technical outerwear names on the block. (Editor’s Note: Earlyups did some really-embarassing product modeling to showcase these pieces. Its worth it just to laugh at our Ice-Lightening poses!!)

Gear: GoPro 2 Revealed and Released
Here is the official PR from GoPro on their new camera. Considering how much content is on Earlyups as a direct result of the predecessor to this camera, we thought it’d be fitting to keep our audience up to speed as to their new offerings. Notable features include a higher mega pixel sensor (11MP), sharper glass, battery warmer, external mic support and more. Check it for the full press release. Camera will be released today.
